Hardwood Floor Refinishing
Have your hardwood floors become faded over time? Are you remodeling or redecorating and want to change the color or finish on your hardwood floors? One of the great benefits to hardwood floors is that they can be sanded stained and re-sealed several times over their life. They have to be solid hardwood in order to benefit from refinishing. If you’re not sure if you have solid hardwood flooring, we can help you figure that out and provide solutions. For solid hardwood floors, they can be sanded using a dustless method and then stained and sealed on site. This method allows for a smooth consistent look in the finished product. The finishes we use are Glitsa, Bona HD, or polyurethane depending on the environment and the desired look.
Sometimes hardwood flooring that is faded or stained only in certain spots might tell us of other problems. This type of issue could be from age, poor installation, or a result of another underlying issue. Either way, it’s a good idea to have one of our certified professionals come to take a look and give our recommendations. If we are able to save the hardwood flooring as it is, we are glad to do so. When repair is no longer possible, we can discuss options for replacing with new hardwood, or even changing to a different type of flooring.
